Summary: This website I found was a great resource to use. It is the site where I got my interview from, a real-life US Army Physical Therapist, Matthew Scherer. This page provided me with exceptional information about a day in the life of a physical therapist and what they go through with various patients. It was a new and different experience for me to read through his answers for very important life questions. In the interview, Scherer discussed what a typical day was like and how it was hard to be away from his family so often because he worked in the army. He also talked about the different injuries and recoveries he has witnessed. Overall, this was a wonderful resourse to use.
Bar-Tzur, David. "Signs for Technical/specialized Vocabulary - A." The Interpreter's Friend. 27 Aug. 1999. 13 Mar. 2012.http://theinerpretersfriend.org/tech/vocab/a.html. Summary: This resoursce was also very good because it provided me with information about important vocabulary in physical therapy. Without this website I probably would not have the information for our vocab heading right now. All of the words they had were all related to physical therapy in ways such as like through different diseases, equipment, and body parts. Most of these words I had never even heard of before I came across this site. I copied the words and defined them on a word document which is shown in our "Research Information" tab.

It showed me the most popular form of injury or diseases that would require therapy. It was a great overview that wasn't too wordy--just on a seventh grade reading level. It did not show too much or too little information about the subject--just enough to show what physical therapy really is. Overall, this was a great first-time website to look at.
